Worst night of sleep I have had in a very, very long time.  Never comfortable, never in deep sleep.  Ridiculously bad.  Did have an amusing (to me) dream toward morning.  But not restful.  Bad sleep will apparently overcome the power of tacos too.

Tomorrow is the day.  I'm sure the next week of logs (in catchup form) will be fascinating.  Probably nothing at all tomorrow since I'll be out for most of it.  We'll see.

Breakfast:  Marbled corn bread scramble, coffee


Decided to go out and have a fave.

Lunch:  Meatloaf sandwich and fries

Another fave

Dinner:  Pep mush gr pep pizza, hot fudge sundae


Sigh.  Good stuff.   Now, no more food.

Exercise:  Nope.

Countdown continues.  Getting close.  

Fun moment at lunch.  I ordered a burger via the app from Wendys.  Drove through, the cashier confirmed everything, someone else handed me a bag after a minute.  Like a rookie I didn't check.  Got home.  Was it my order?  NOPE.  Pretty much the exact opposite.  Oh well.

Breakfast:  McD egg mcmuffin, BEC biscuit, hash brown.  Coffee.

Yeah.

Lunch:  Wendy's chicken sandwich, fries, spicy nuggets.

Like I said, not my order.  Was fine.  Sitting like a rock though.

Dinner:  2x mex 2x american tacos, a few sour cream and onion chips, ice cream sandwiches and snickers ice cream bars

Way too much.

Exercise:  Nope.

I had something inspiring to put, but since that idea came when I woke up at 1:30, it should not be too surprising that I forgot it.  Happily I did manage to eventually go back to sleep and got a few more hours.

Felt pretty good yesterday, really the best I've felt in a while.  Got more done as a result.  We'll see how today goes.

Breakfast:  Lazy bagels with cream cheese, coffee


As usual very tasty but no satiety.

Lunch:   Leftover deluxe pizza


Excessive.

Dinner:  American goulash, garlic bread, salad no dressing.  2x snickers ice cream bar



As usual ate too much although not horribly so.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart, did a fair amount of extra walking.  I am now very tired.

Feeling Off By A Day

Felt like Saturday yesterday, today has felt like Sunday.  Glad to have a real Sunday yet.  Really feeling under the gun, too much to do before Wednesday.

Anyway, I'm glad to feel decent today, woke about 3:30, got another half hour, maybe an hour.  Had a little pep on the golf course even.  Not a lot, of course, but a little.  Which was nice.

Breakfast:  Standard pre-golf breakfast out, coffee

Yup. 

Lunch:  More like a snack mid-afternoon after I got home:  granola bar, rice krispie treat, Nice sour cream and onion chips

Empty calories.

Dinner:  Deluxe pizza, ice cream sandwiches

Yum.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart, some extra walking

Starting Too Early

A day off.  Would have been nice to rest up, but NOPE.  Woke up before 3:00, finally dozed back off after 5:00 and then woke up shortly before my 6:00 alarm with a VICIOUS foot cramp.  The toes were all cramp curled underneath the foot.  Painful.  When it finally broke I could feel the release of the toes.

Breakfast:  Standard pregolf breakfast out, coffee


Good as usual.

Snack:  A couple pretzels, rice krispie treat

During golf

Lunch:  Pulled pork w bbq sauce, pasta salad, rolls w butter


Catered lunch, was quite good.

Dinner:  Qdoba brisket bowl, hot fudge sundae


I wish I had a photo of the sundae, it was enormous.  I've had a few from this place this summer and this was at least 1.5x the size of the usual.  Yow.

Also:  a package of peanut M&Ms.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart.  Also ran errands and did the grocery shopping.  Tired.

Getting Nerved

Starting to get nervous.  Not looking forward to this, not at all.  But it needs to happen.  I've been so noticably fatigued that I've gotten a couple comments.  I'm sure it doesn't help that I wake up in the 3:00 am hour every night now and if I'm lucky get back to sleep for an hour or two after 5:00.  No stamina at work, no pep in the personal life.  Sad.

Breakfast:  Peanut butter sandwich, coffee

Had to buy a loaf of local bakery french (clean) bread.   Hope to make and bake a couple loaves for the freezer but we'll see.

Lunch:  Home ham and cheese subs


Day two of three.  Again tasty, again excessive.

Pregolf snack of a slice of pizza and a snickers ice cream bar

Dinner:  Italian sub, chips, 12 oz Centennial IPA, ice cream sandwiches

Yuh.

Exercise:  9 holes with cart, a little extra walking.  Tired.

Beer tasted good, been a little while since I had an All Day

Ugh.  Worst Domino's in a very long time.  At least the pizza was free due to rewards.  Done with them.

The minor falls, the major lifts.

Glad it's Wednesday since it feels like a Monday for obvious reasons.  Intentionally dozed off in the recliner (contacts out, teeth brushed, all that good stuff) and slept soundly until about 1:30.  Moved to the bed for a couple hours then gave up and back to the recliner.  Ended up in that state where my brain didn't allow me to sleep but my body was very much in sleep mode.  On the to do list for tonight is to get the topper off the mattress, I should have done that days ago.

Breakfast:  Home bread and butter, coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  McD 2x QPC, McChicken

Out running errands.

Dinner:  Ham salami and cheese sub, garlic cheese bread w pizza sauce, rice krispie treats, a glass of chocolate milk

Fat.

Getting close, I think, to committing to improvements.  It's pretty late to do so before my surgery, but I could stand to do at least a little better, then really kick it in.  That doesn't include just diet and exercise, it includes sleep, losing social media, maybe I can even get rid of TV.  We'll see about that one.  Lots of better things I could do to fill the time.

Lunch:  16 oz Mich Ultra draft, Masa chips with guac, ice cream sandwiches

Deluxed It Up

Glad that today is a quasi-holiday.  Went to work for a bit, but really didn't accomplish much.  Could stand to go back later but probably will not.

Went to bed a little early, felt like I slept decently.  Woke up at 4:00 and was rested.  Didn't do much, and after breakfast about 6:30 I dozed off.  Ugh.  This is why I don't nap.  Woke up and got up the second time at 9:30.

Breakfast:  Home bread and butter, coffee

Yup.

Lunch:  Bagel breakfast sandwich with sausage.  Later, some Fritos

More of a brunch, with a mid-aftenoon snack.

Dinner:  Deluxe/pep pizza, ice cream sandwiches

Tasty.  I almost never order from this place, but it sounded particularly good tonight.  Worth the wait.

I'm living with intermittent sleeping.

Last night wasn't terrible.  I woke up at 4:30 to dispose of some liquid, but did get some additional sleep.  I could have slept longer (up at 7:10) but was just sitting on the couch and that's not ever going to produce a long stretch.  

Breakfast:  Leftover deluxe pizza, coffee

Had planned otherwise, but I was actually hungry.

Lunch:  2x McDouble, later had 2x TB chipotle chx burrito, volcano taco

Uh.

Dinner:   Steak, salad, a few chips, 12 oz Miller Lite, butter pecan ice cream

Kept quantities in check due to the snack.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart.  Some walking.  I am now rather wiped out.

Abject Failure Sleep Department

Sigh.  It seemed like a good idea in my head - maybe if I threw the mattress topper back on the softer surface might allow for more comfort and just maybe a decent night of sleep?  Answer:  NOPE.  Instead I was restless and ended up waking at 3:30 in a fair amount of pain.  Sigh.  Best sleep I got was 45 minutes in the recliner.  Had to get up early.

Breakfast:  Standard pre-golf breakfast out



Yup.  Good as usual.

Lunch:  12 oz Miller Lite

No food until dinner.

Dinner:  Deluxe pizza, a few leftover sour cream and onion chips, butter pecan ice cream



Tasty.

Exercise:  27 holes with cart.  Some walking.  Overall the back held up far better than I would have expected, especially as of about 3:30 am.
