At least today in the midst of the fail I decided that yes, when the vacation is over I really do want to get back to cooking and eating at home, eating appropriately, etc.  I'm pretty sick of the takeout food and I'm sure it will only get worse over the next ten days.

For whatever reason I'm not always remembering what the scale said.  I mean I think I'm reporting accurately, but I have to think about it before coming up with a number.  Lately of course they have all been bad due to awful eating, but it was happening when things were good too.

Breakfast:   2 eggs, 3 strips bacon, american fries, raisin toast, coffee


Local place, haven't been there much lately.  A bunch of tobasco made the eggs and potatoes decent.  Otherwise very good.

Lunch:  Subway 12" meatball sub (tomato, jala, southwest, pickles), Snyders seasoned pretzel sticks

Sounded good, was good.

Dinner:  Italian sub, garlic cheese bread w marinara sauce

Different sub place.  Good stuff.

Exercise:  Nope.  No golf today, just working around the house.

Nothing exciting so far.  Just a nice relaxing morning.   Wasn't a great night of sleep, usual sinus issues, but it was OK.  A little more water has left the premises.  So it's the same ol same ol.

Okay.  The BBQ place was out of meatloaf so I passed and finally setttled on the local tacquiera.  Not the best one I've ever had.

Holiday weekend comin'.  Supposed to be beautiful.  Of course I should be working, but lol no.

Disposed of some more water last night and this morning.  It continues to crack me up how that can happen after I eat a pile of mashed potatoes for dinner.  I guess loading them up with butter TCD style prevents them from acting like a giant sponge a la other carbs or something idk.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Standard.

Lunch:  Polish ham, Kraft deli deluxe american cheese, croissaints with butter, Meijer spicy veg juice


Another standard.  Tasty.

Dinner:  Leftover hamburger gravy and TCD-style mashed potatoes, 12 oz All Day IPA


Last of this, it was the best.  Very tasty.  Just reheated with a little milk.

I had to look up how much a gallon of water weighs.  It felt like I got rid of that much last night and first thing this morning.  Amazing how a simple shift away from horrendous eating can signal your body to get rid of it ... even if yesterday wasn't notably low carb.

Incidentally, the answer is 8.33 pounds.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Standard.

Lunch:  Polish ham, 2 slices Kraft deli deluxe american cheese, croissaints w butter, Meijer spicy veg juice


Was actually hungry.  Needed more fat. Fingers crossed it will hold until dinner.  Edit:  It did.  No hunger.

Dinner:  Leftover hamburger gravy, mashed potatoes TCD style, 12 oz All Day IPA


Good again.  One day's worth left.  This time I made extra potatoes for tomorow.

Glad that August is over.  I'm not 100%, but any issues are mostly mental.  I mean, I can deal with the fact that I'm having annoying sinus issues, they aren't bad enough to stop me from living.  I can fight through fatigue.  It's not such a big deal.

Thanks to the illness-related meltdown and gain of nearly 15 pounds August went from very successful to FAIL in just a few days.  I'd be very frustrated if I hadn't felt like such garbage.  I give my weak ass self somewhat of a pass for that.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Very standard.

Lunch:  Wendy's Daves Double, plain


Went to the grocery store at lunch and then grabbed the fastest cleanish food I could come up with.  It was OK.

Dinner:  Hamburger gravy with TCD mashed potatoes, 12 oz All Day IPA


There really wasn't that much gravy to it, decided I didn't really want to load up the flour or the milk.  Turned out fine and I have leftovers for a couple nights.

Exercise:  Nope.
