Mondays.  Man.

Breakfast:  2 oz CF cajun jerky, coffee

I think if I can get serious here I may need to go to a full 4 oz.

Lunch:  Corned beef hash, 2 eggs over easy, raisin toast, coffee

Portions were much more reasonable than usual today.  It was very good.

Dinner:  4 mexican tacos plus cheese and avocado, hot sauce, mexican coke

Also:  12 oz Founders Solid Gold plus add one to last night.

Exercise:  Nope, going to do stuff around the unit tonight though.

One Meal Difference

I don't want to read too much into it, but having a simple meal of just protein and fat (okay, okay, plus a beer later) felt good.  I felt sated and even though I didn't do much I felt normal plus and not sluggish.  We'll see how that goes if I can repeat it regularly.

As an added bonus, I was able to get back to sleep this morning and get some additional quality - or close enough to it - sleep.  Woke up feeling notably less fatigued.  Even my cranky feet were pleased.  I threw a pair of insoles in the house shoes and I'm liking them so far.

Breakfast:  2 eggs over medium in butter, 5 strips thick cut Wright applewood bacon, Alexia hash browns in butter, coffee

Got a little carried away with the hash browns, hard to tell how many I had since most of it was a single frozen meganugget. 

Lunch:  None

Dinner:  A few triscuits with bar cheez, NY strip steak, potatoes, fresh green beans with a pat of butter, 12 oz Miller Lite, Oreos and ice cream

Also:  3 McD cheeseburgers, Dr. Pepper

Exercise:  18 holes with cart

Day One No Donut No Cry

Well, two out of three.  A small step in the right direction.  I'm going to have to tell people that I'm being better about what I eat.

Breakfast:  2 hot shots, a little coffee

Hot shots are smoked sausage sticks from a local butcher shop.  They sell a lot of them, and not just to me.

Lunch:  Ham and cheese wrap, fries w ketchup, 16 oz Miller Lite, TB chicken burrito, beefy frito burrito, spicy potato soft taco, Dr. Pepper

Yeah, fail here.  Big time.

Dinner:  CF spicy hot beef bacon.

A tasty dinner.  Probably not what most people would consider a meal, but given that it's beef "bacon" it's really not notably different than a burger patty.  I might have a Founders Solid Gold later since I still have at least a dozen cans left.

Exercise:  18 holes with cart

Ouch.  Feet started hurting pretty bad on the 16th hole.  I wish this pair of shoes was just a bit bigger.  I'll be wearing a different pair tomorrow.  The feet are still barking and it's limited how much I've accomplished this evening.  Hopefully losing some weight will help in the future.

Learned something yesterday.  The foot issue I've been having has a name, plantar fascitis.  Not uncommon.  Good to know what it is, at least.  Now I should do something about it.

Lunch:  Brat w ketchup, a few chips, some Kraft mac n cheese, salad w ranch, 12 oz Two Hearted, choc cake with vanilla ice cream

Dinner: 3 strips CF brisket, Vigo yellow rice
