Day Minus 5 or so
It's after 1:00 and I haven't left the house yet. And I love it. After two very busy days of holiday rushing it has been so nice to just kick back, putter and get some things done that needed doing. Still plenty more to do this afternoon -- some dishes, some cleaning, some laundry -- but I have time to tackle them. It's glorious. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good holiday party but there needs to be balance.
Anyway, when you aren't paying attention the holidays result in serious overeating. I'm not sure I can even begin to summarize the binge eating, but there has been a bunch. The reckoning, also known as another serious attempt to fix things, is coming very soon.
Breakfast: 2 eggs fried in butter, 5 strips Meijer bacon pan fried, Alexia hash browns fried in butter, coffee.
I didn't take a picture, but it was the usual. When it's that good, why change, right? I know I should cut out the potatoes, but I am thinking that if I measure and keep it (more) modest I may not eliminate them entirely since I only eat them at home on weekends.
Lunch: 2 grilled cheese sandwiches (white bread, american cheese, fried in butter), can of Chunky Chicken Pot Pie soup, Newman's Own lemonade.

Dinner: Leftover spiral ham, mashed potatoes, carrots, 2 potato rolls with butter, pecan pie with vanilla ice cream.
No photo. Lots of yum. And way, way too much.
Exercise: Nope.

B: Sausage strata, 1/2 grapefruit, banana nut and pumpkin breads with butter, pecan coffee cake, coffee, small orange juice
L: Cheese and crackers, bar cheese
D: Spiral ham, a little turkey, potato rolls with butter, mashed potatoes, carrots, pecan pie with vanilla ice cream, crepe with berry sauce, christmas cookie, a couple pieces of chocolate and a few mixed nuts, 12 oz Labatts blue light, Newman's Own lemonade, decaf coffee
Whew!
Ex: About an hour of golf, walking, plus a bunch of moving around that doesn't count.

B: 2 eggs fried in butter, hash browns in butter, bacon, coffee
L: Sausage and pepperoni stromboli slices w pizza sauce, crackers and cheese, bar cheese, carrots and ranch, cookies, chocolates, nuts, oh heck I dunno there was more, ate way too much. Peanut M&Ms.
D: Beef tenderloin, french bread w cheese fondue, romaine salad w ranch, 1 glass red wine
Ex: Nope.
Feasted.
I'm not going to try and recreate the previous week, just assume the worst. Lots of Qdoba.
