Returned from a long weekend away.   I was pleasantly surprised that I held up to 90 holes of golf over four days and wasn't too exhausted.  Lots of up and down too, this is not flat ground.  I would have liked to have had my pedometer but I forgot to bring it.  Especially pleased to feel decent throughout given how lousy I was feeling before leaving.

The eating was ... not so good.  But I didn't worry too much given the exercise.  I have two weeks before another brief vacation.  My expectations of fixing things beforehand are low.

Breakfast:  Slice of pizza, apple pie, rice krispie treat, Dr. Pepper

Yeah, your basic breakfast of champions.

Lunch:  McD Big Mac, fries, Dr Pepper, mcchicken, cheeseburger

And your lunch of champions.  Champions of obesity.

Dinner:  4 tacos mexican style plus cheese, will add an avocado if I have one


Exercise:  Nope.  Only a couple hours of sleep, had to be to work early.

Catching up.  It's been a horrible stretch.  Compounded by feeling awful.  Today is the first in several where I'm borderline funcitonal.  Oh, I've worked through it, sort of.  But productivity has been crap.  And it's been miserable.

Breakfast:  A few Cheezit snapped

Lunch:  CFA spicy chicken sandwich, fries, lg frosted lemonade, nuggets w polynesian

Excessive, expensive.

Dinner:  Pepperoni pizza, Dr Pepper

Also:  Cheez Kurls

Exercise:  Nope.  Man my physical condition is abysmal.

Another mostly nothing day.  Frustrating.  Didn't feel as bleak though, so at least there is that.  Awful, awful eating and I'm fighting something.

Lunch:  Culvers single cheeseburgers x2, 2 pc chx tender w ranch,  sm fry, sm Dr Pepper

Dinner:  Bacon cheeseburger pizza, 24 oz Dr Pepper

Waste of a day really.  Sleep was mediocre but not excuse-worthy.  I just could not get going and wasted so much time.  My only goal now is to go to bed as early as possible so I can try again tomorrow.

Breakfast:  Coffee

Only had one cup since my stomach wasn't too thrilled.

Lunch:  Jimmy Johns big italian sub, salt & vinegar chips, Dr. Pepper

Garbage lunch.  Couldn't even muster up enough pep to leave work to get food.

Dinner:  2 mexican tacos, 2 american tacos, guac and a few chips.  Also had 3 squares of 92% dark chocolate.

Exercise:  Nope.

Just a kid out there making up words.

Slept decently, felt OK this morning.  Certainly better than yesterday.  I still don't have a great deal of pep, really have not accomplished much.  I should have dragged myself into work for a few hours but that does not appear to be happening.

How bad do I have spring fever?  Still 10 days before a long weekend road trip ... and I could leave in an hour.  I made detailed lists.  Got out the suitcase and some other stuff.   I'm getting perilously close to doing things just because.

Breakfast:  2 eggs over medium, 6 strips bacon, hash browns, coffee


Standard GOAT preparation.  I didn't eat the avocado, the one bite I took just didn't taste right.  It was probably fine but no reason to chance anything.  Did the bacon in the oven, I still prefer stovetop.

Lunch:  Tortilla chips with Herdez guacamole salsa

Impulse buy yesterday after getting a recommendation.  It wasn't bad, but I won't buy again because of soybean oil being high on the list of ingredients.  No thanks, I need to get rid of that junk in my diet.

Dinner:  Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, cheesy beans, roll with butter

Hi I'm Insane:  10 pc McNuggets w/ S&S, cheeseburger, Dr Pepper, strawberry shake

Exercise:  Nope.  Considered but not executed.

Whew.  Barely made it through to the weekend.  I enjoyed last night's concert but found myself wishing beforehand that I had not purchased a ticket.  If I didn't have that sunk cost I would not have gone.  I would have gone home, had a friday night pizza, and crashed.

Super slow start today.  Slept poorly with unpleasant dreams and frequent waking.  Was trying a combination of snoring aids, definitively did NOT work.  Realistically the only thing that's going to make a major difference is major weight loss.  It took a long shower and some coffee to chase the headache and the blahs.

Received a couple packages with new clothes I ordered yesterday so I had occasion to look in the mirror.  Definitely did not like what I saw.  I'm lucky that I've felt mostly decent lately.  Not good, mind you, but decent.  Not going to lie, I'm probably going to have pizza tonight but I need to get it together.

Breakfast:  2 eggs over medium in butter, 5 strips Wright thick applewood bacon, Alexia hash browns in butter, 1 medium avocado, coffee


Just the GOAT, you know it.  Delicious as always.

Lunch:  None

Got a little hungry, but not bad at all.

Dinner:  Pepperoni pizza


Always good.  Too good.

Also:  Caramel De-Lites girl scout cookies.

Exercise:  Nope.
